When I first started playing, I was on spring break from college and back home with my family. I thought the game was charming and wanted something to do when I had free time. Something new.
I picked up Sky and instantly found myself being led through a story of growing as a person. I made friends with fellow players as I tried to find my way around the game. I'll admit, I got stuck here and there. A lot. I still get stuck. My new friends were younger, older, and my own age in Sky. All flying around and helping me get unstuck.
It felt like I was on the playground again, running into new people each time I logged on, and sharing stories of our time on that playground. It helped with my loneliness, and even helped me find my own little community in Sky. I hope more people can join as I play on into adulthood. Wish me luck in my final year of Biochemistry!
