My Autism Doesn't Exist In Sky

My Autism Doesn't Exist In Sky

As an adult with autism, I find my real life experience to be quite lonely. I feel isolated from the world, and especially from other adults my age. Making friends has never been an easy thing for me.

When I first downloaded Sky in March of 2021, I had no idea how big an impact it would have on my life. I had come across an ad for it in another game that I play, and thought the graphics and storyline were so beautiful that I had to download it! The real game was SO much more beautiful in comparison.

Over the years, I have found new friends in Sky, and also the freedom to play on my own, should I feel the need to do so. My state can fluctuate at times, and sometimes I just need to be alone; but I don't feel judgment from any of my friends in Sky, and none of them are even aware of how "different" I am! They all make me feel accepted, and just like one of their own real life friends. Although I constantly wish people in my real life could be as accepting as people are in Sky, I am extremely grateful for the loving escape that Sky provides for me. Thank you!
