The Nuances of Self Creation

When I first started playing Sky, I didn't know who I was. I didn't have a strong sense of self because I couldn't pinpoint what I wanted to be. Sky gave me the opportunity to try out different appearances, names, pronouns; identities. I could be a new person entirely and see if that would work for me. Suddenly I was Max, I was James, I was Sierra. I could dress vibrantly, have long or short hair in any style. I could be whoever I wanted, because of Sky's unique communication system. You don't have to play with anyone if you don't want to, but I did want to! I chatted with many kind-hearted and friendly people. It's been 3 years, and I finally know who I am, and Sky has helped me so much on this identity finding journey. Maybe it wasn't a case of finding it, but creating it instead.
